Some reviewers gave these socks a bad rating because the material is so thin but that's why my son loves these socks. They're thick enough to keep you warm and wick sweat, but not so thick that your shoes are too tight. Good weight for spring, summer and fall. Maybe too thin for winter on a very cold day. The stitched area on the toes is also nice and flat, which makes it more comfortable to wear in shoes.
