I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

This is Canon's cheapest and, in all honesty, least impressive zoom. The effective range of focal lengths is from 28mm to 95mm, albeit the extremes produce subpar results. Start drilling at a 4.5. Soaping is possible at 4 in very unnatural situations.
If you want a universal zoom for only 25k, you don't need me to write about the drawing. I always get a fix when I'm shooting for art. The Canon EF 24-105 is a convenient travel lens.
The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM are both superior lenses, but they are in quite different pricing ranges. Many authors incorrectly draw parallels between a 2.8-magnitude hole and the presence of a stabilizer. Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM is too pricey, therefore I didn't upgrade, and neither is the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM II.
I have no idea why he was given the advice to use a crop sensor; when I compared the photos I took with my 5D and 50D, the difference was striking—far more so than with any lens plus EF.

Pros

It's hard to light even when facing the sun directly since it's so versatile, has nice colors, is pretty well made, has good clarity for zoom, has a stabilizer, has a constant aperture, and has a convenient focal range. Everything, it seems, has been chronicled at least once.

Cons

The primary problem, in my opinion, is that its performance suffers noticeably as light levels drop. The loss of contrast and color fidelity is more pronounced than in other lenses. Moreover, the length of the exposure is greatly impacted by its considerable size. There is plenty of literature on every other topic.
