My 8 year old daughter wore this pair of shoes (in black leather) to school every day for 4 months 7 hours a day and I am happy to report that she is by far the most are durable out of all the school shoes we tried. I usually buy nicer shoes for school (e.g. Pediped, Jumping Jack, etc.). Our school's playground has fine gravel and is the only shoe that has stood the test of time. Every pair of shoes we've tried have horrible scratches on their toes, some from the first wear. I don't know how these shoes do it, but they still look flawless after all this time! They often gather dust on the playground, but simply wipe them off and they're ready to use. My only complaint is that the strings along the Mary Jane strap tend to fray or have small strings that need to be cut or burned from time to time. Again we had much more expensive shoes which made it a lot worse. These shoes have a nice soft insole and fit my daughter's well-groomed feet very well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. In fact, if she outgrows this pair, these will be the shoes I'll be buying next year. I am very picky and want my kids shoes to look beautiful every time they wear them and these shoes have been amazing. buy you. You will not regret it.
