This makes the water taste better. However, some functions need improvement.1. It's still quite bulky despite its horizontal position compared to the vertical designs I've seen.2. The filter light is still a bit confusing. directions are not clear. And finally the BIGGEST complaint! 3. The little control knob that you pull to start filtered water that "automatically returns to the unfiltered position" was a HUGE deciding factor when I bought this. I didn't want my kids to use filtered water to wash dishes or run hot water, you know? AND FIRST I LOVED IT! BUT. I've been using it for less than 14 days and the little button no longer switches to the "off" position. That's not a big problem now, the device still filters the water and makes it tasty. But due to this missing feature, I will be looking for a replacement soon.
