Good, but not great

This makes the water taste better. However, some functions need improvement.1. It's still quite bulky despite its horizontal position compared to the vertical designs I've seen.2. The filter light is still a bit confusing. directions are not clear. And finally the BIGGEST complaint! 3. The little control knob that you pull to start filtered water that "automatically returns to the unfiltered position" was a HUGE deciding factor when I bought this. Pros
  • Fits most aerators. Uses 55/64-27 female metal sleeve, 15/16-27 male adapter included. Not suitable for pull-out or manual fittings
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A trip to the hardware store was necessary. Simple Enough

Addendum: After 6 months the tongue does not go back when the water is turned off and the chrome coating is peeling off at the top. Seems like a waste of time, especially with such expensive replacement filters. It's better to actually get the system under the sink. I have a faucet with a "decorative" aerator, so neither the block nor the adapter will fit. I bought a metal adapter and was able to install it today. Installation was easy but it feels a little cumbersome, but maybe that's because…

Pros
  • Compact horizontal design with chrome finish to save space. Also available in white fm-100-w. Easy cartridge change
Cons
  • threadbare

This review has been badly delayed due to my skepticism, but I'm happy to report that it worked. Pros: I use it for health, not flavor, so I can't talk about it. But I can tell you I'm a little rough with my equipment - neither gentle nor careful - and the Culligan still easily outlasts the Brita. Very…
