I was really hoping this would work. They held up really well on the ice and offered a lot of comfort during the very icy late winter we have in the state. Much safety when walking on icy roads. Unfortunately, after a few uses, some of the chain links broke off and no longer holding the bottom plate, allowing snow and ice to accumulate between the boot and the handles, resulting in a fairly deadly combination that caused trips and falls. They had to be sent back as they were broken. They were enough for four walks, that's all.
