As a former console (Atari, Nintendo and Super Nintendo, Xbox/360/One and Playstation 2/3/4) gamer who went exclusively to PC, I prefer the Xbox layout in games . controller. I was using an old wired Xbox 360 Air Flo controller but the joysticks were worn out. The Xbox One Wireless and other 360 controllers I still have won't connect without purchasing a separate wireless receiver that costs about the same as this new controller. In addition, there is no need to use batteries or install a charging station. This controller feels good in my hands. The turbo function is easy to use. The ability to switch D-Pad and joystick can come in handy when the joystick starts to wear out (in my experience, this is the number one cause of controller death). All buttons and triggers seem reliable. It performed well in a sensitivity test I ran on a Steam game. It also performed well in 6 games: 2 driving games, 2 first-person, and 2 third-person games, which is where I decided to test it out. Definitely recommended for use in PC/Steam/Epic games and/or if you have friends who play on Xbox but have a PS3.
