Review on πŸ§‚ HOME EC Premium Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Grinder Set: Adjustable Ceramic Grinders, Glass Shakers, Funnel & EBook by Ben Barrington

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not for those with arthritis/small hands.

π’€ The metal caps are rough to the touch when rotated, causing friction and not making them very pleasant or convenient to use (no spices inside). Down, up, down happened to both cans during production. One jar even showed a fairly large bubble at the bottom, making that particular spot more prone to cracking. (Let's be honest, these are not the antique tins we receive, so imperfections shouldn't be that obvious.) π’€ Size - The diameter/width is very uncomfortable to hold, especially for those with small hands. 𒉽 The height to width ratio is far from the elegance of the display. 𒉽 The large girth makes it difficult to grip and almost impossible to use due to the arthritis in my hands/wrists. π’€ The entire spice grinder as a whole feels and looks of lower end quality. 𒐀 The metal appears to be more of a typical gray steel alloy than stainless steel, which contains chromium, which usually creates a lighter, shinier metal (and makes it tarnish/rust resistant). This is my opinion as someone with a mechanical engineering background and over 4 years college machine tool education. Not to mention that I come from a long, long line of machinists, growing up spending countless hours in my father's shop from a young age into adulthood before pursuing certifications. 𒐁 Added 1 star for the light green collapsible silicone funnel , which is useful in the kitchen more than once.
