So disappointed! The FIRST time I used it, the glass jar broke and shattered (see photo). Not only did this happen the first time, I also had to toss the Himalayan sea salt in a glass container because I wasn't sure if it wasn't a glass. I will return them but unfortunately I ran out of salt which cost me more than these coffee grinders.

I didn't know what to expect. I used a cheap store bought plastic grinder and broke 3 of them. I bought these because they had a high rating so thought we'd give them a try. I've had them for a few weeks now and they are holding up great. The glasses are sized to fit comfortably in your hand, making them very easy to rotate. The glasses appear to be thicker glass so I'm sure they could have been dropped a couple of times and they were fine. They were fairly easy to clean before use; a few drops of dishwashing liquid, fill halfway with hot water and shake well. I sprayed the tips with a sprayer. There was a small funnel. Whilst I loved this lovely set that came out of the box one of them appears to be defective. I put Himalayan rock salt in one and black pepper in the other. He who has salt does not grind salt. It just gathered around the gasket part and I had to twist it 50 times to get anything out and it wasn't very good. I changed the setting to course setting and it's still just as bad. I have 2 different reviews: product and customer service. product first. These coffee grinders are fantastic. Don't expect any flimsy plastic grinder you see around town. I originally gave these grinders a one star rating because I didn't get a response from a customer who didn't work as I put it. First they sent me coffee grinders which were defective, one of the knobs wouldn't stay in place and the other knob would only grind when the knob was fully open and then it would only grind well when it was supposed to have a coarse grind setting. I contacted the seller and got no response at first, so I sent the grinders back and gave a bad review about the grinders.

𒀭 The metal caps are rough to the touch when rotated, causing friction and not making them very pleasant or convenient to use (no spices inside). Down, up, down happened to both cans during production. One jar even showed a fairly large bubble at the bottom, making that particular spot more prone to cracking.
