Good cutter. This worked well for deep grooves with a router I had to make. It's holding up well, although I need to resharpen it at this point. Remember I've used this cutter to cut into all sorts of different hardwoods. Anything from desert ironwood (extremely hard dense blunt incisors) walnut, hard maple, padauk, elder burl, bigleaf maple burl, quilted maple etc etc etc. Name woods other than ipe and I've been cutting with the same router for probably x months . When preparing the blanks, I literally loaded the template with the blank and drilled (quickly, about 10 seconds per cut or less depending on the density of the wood - ironwood is slower of course) and it cut. Eventually it started burning and I replaced it with a Bosch cutter of the same size. I still have it, there are no chips in the carbide. For the amount of work this roughly $28 beat did when I bought it, it paid for itself a thousand fold.
