I bought this product to replace face cloths (less waste) and to seal jars for kombucha making at home. I sometimes use them to strain homemade oat and nut milks. I've had a hard time finding 100% cotton and anything with polyester irritates my skin. When I received them they looked and felt like a polyester blend, but they are definitely cotton. After one wash and dry they are perfect. There are a few threads sticking out, but that's not a problem. I have just bought two more packs to replace all my old faded tissues that I have used over the past few years. Excellent value for money and quality. If you use them in a suit pocket or want a wrinkle-free fabric, hand wash and air dry. Otherwise you will have to iron them and possibly starch them. As per other reviews the stitching is not very strong but for my use I give the product five stars.
