This didn't work on my laptop. The HDMI size is a standard that is too big. It would be helpful if the seller provided the HDMI size in the product description. The average person doesn't automatically know these things. I had to do some research and found out that there are three sizes. I already knew that the cable would be too small for cell phones, iPads etc. (Micro D). What I didn't know was the mini C size I needed). If you need an HDMI to VGA adapter, first check your port size!
