I combined this Edison bulb with a Perfectshow retro bulb and I have to say I was very pleased with how aesthetically they look together. Sure, at only 40 watts it's not going to light up a lot of space, but you're buying this type of bulb for aesthetic reasons, not efficiency. It emits a warm orange light that really makes a wooden desk or table stand out, so it was an added bonus that I wasn't expecting when I bought it. When you look at Edison lightbulbs, you obviously have in mind how you want to use them. Buy it and you will have a real return experience!
