Very mediocre part, you can tell it's just a cheap Chinese replacement. I find it overpriced for something that looks as cheap as it looks. It fit and worked well, but I had to trim the part that was supposed to have a hole a bit, but there was no hole. However, once you work on it, it will install without any problems. The tan color does not match the 2001 Chevy Silverado tan. Very clearly a few shades lighter. But it works for my battered pickup truck, and it doesn't have the broken plastic that poke my elbow while driving like the old one.
