I was amazed at the materials, the price and how much better my bookshelf speakers sound. I even put on my larger R-15M clip and they surprised me at how well they fit while still maintaining decent stability. They are very attractive and I get compliments on how beautiful they are and how much better my speakers sound. My only complaint, however, is that the underside of the base is curved where the screws penetrate the carpet for heavy anti-reverb. You really need more strength where the bottom screws are attached. Screws and nozzles can be connected very easily. However, when the screws were pushed slightly into the carpet, the metal feet buckled quite a bit. I couldn't believe it and only realized it when I saw how unbalanced and tilted the speakers were. I was able to bend them back far enough for it to work, but that could have been avoided if the base was thicker or if I found something to bridge the gap between the corners of the base where the screws attach and the fixed one Main platform to seal the base itself. Reasons.*** I note that I have only tried the pair that I purchased and received. This in no way reflects how well built and how thoughtfully/acoustically designed these grandstands are. Even with that issue before and after I fixed it a bit, this stand is still very solid. My 90 lb pup put them to the test and they passed with flying colors.
