I am using this pressure switch DB 10 with Fantech RVF4XL outdoor wall mount centrifugal duct fan, 4", 193 CFM and Fantech 9800000 RSK check valve -4.4" duct. The combo works great, turning my dryer on and off and increasing the dryer airflow allowing my clothes to dry about 3 times faster. So why only 4 stars? Two reasons. First, the DB 10 worked- Switch didn't initially and almost sent it back The instruction manual, but not mentioned here in the description or review, mentions the fact that the hole you drill in your canal (where the sensor measures pressure) is right in front of your knee must be, so enough pressure is created for the commutator to feel it My channel has no knee, ie a bend in the channel somewhere near where the switches s a should. switches and fans. I solved the problem by drilling a hole right in front of the RSK-4 damper that blocks airflow and creates the necessary pressure at about knee height. At a minimum, management should propose such an arrangement for people whose apartment does not have room for a pipe bend. Copper wires on the RVF-4XL fan motor. At that price they could use solid wires. Or they could ditch the wire harness entirely in favor of connectors on the switch.
