The main benefit of using this system is that it gives all users an easy way to file for benefits as well as provide them with timely reminders to take care of paperwork needed in order to receive their insurance pay outs, whether its time sensitive or not! This has also allowed me to see when my co-workers are receiving these alerts so we don't have any issues where one person files while another isn't aware they're available until after hours/days past expiration of deadline date. Nothing really i think could be improved but perhaps adding more reminders or options regarding who needs what notification would help make some work easier! Benefits administration was quite complicated before I started working here at my current job - which involved having different groups each month submit reports & request claims through multiple channels (paperless) which were then manually processed into our database monthly - BenefitED streamlined and simplified process allowing us to get The ease of use, the ability to create a customized plan based on the needs of the employees, the ability to link to other HR systems, the ability to track and manage claims. The reporting is not as robust as I would like. I would like to be able to see a full month of activity in a single report. The overall experience with BenefitEd has been very positive. The implementation was on time and on budget.
