Good wires, weak box

Overall I'd say it's a good value for the price. The wires are great, I haven't found any flaws. However, the box is horrible. Be prepared to spend 20 minutes sorting all the wires out when you receive it. The dividers don't meet the flimsy lid, so any shaking causes the wires to mix up. The lid latch is very weak. If you accidentally drop the box, the dividers can pop out. Basically be very careful with the box!

  • The preformed wires can be difficult to straighten out if they're not the exact length you need

Too thin and bendy in my review

Every time I use these jumpers I find myself becoming more and more frustrated. The wire gauge is too thin and the material is too soft, with the result that the wire bends into a corkscrew when its inserted into a breadboard hole. I would gladly have payed an extra buck for better wire, but it looks like almost all the jumper kits here have the same problem.

  • Quality jumper wires and enough for most bread board projects.

  • They smell bad. It gets on your hands and then your hands smell. How did they make wires smell so bad?

Not all wires are continuous, defected wires

The jumper wires with the black ends do not work well and have unnegligible resistance so it messed up my circuits. Thus causing open circuits

Too soft to be pushed into the breadboard

The pins on these jumpers are too soft that they twist like threads when I tried to push into the breadboard. Very frustrating to use them. Had to return them.

  • Small container is excellent for student take-home electronics component kit.
Cons
  • The tweezers provided with the kit are of poor quality and break easily, rendering them practically useless

Works as expected: my feedback

Worked great. I’m new to all this, and these precut jumpers were very helpful. Kept a clean breadboard. Some of the wires were a little softer metal, and bent a little but otherwise everything was perfect.

  • The wires are not color-coded, making it difficult to keep track of which wires go where in complex projects

Great amount of wires and variety for the price

Perfect for what you buy and plenty of variety in wire lengths. Some wires were a little out of place initially but that may have been an issue with shipping

Not great, but not terrible. Perfectly average.

All wires are 24AWG when they should really be 22AWG, making them too flexible and brittle. Most of the DuPont-style connectors still have little tails of flash from the molding (though that doesn't affect usability). Comes with some pretty good tweezers (with an extremely fine point), which you will definitely need. If you take care of it, this kit will serve you just fine for a long time (if you have a low-quality or worn-out breadboard, though, you'll almost certainly run into problems with…
