I love these boards. At first I thought the small ones were too small, but now that we've been using them for a few months, they're a great size. No, you can't slice turkey on it, but it's good for a sandwich or slicing apples. The best thing about them are their legs. They don't slip at all, which is very handy when you're trying to cut something with a knife! These boards are also very strong but not very heavy. The wood is quite durable but will still leave knife marks. However, if they are too deep, you can sand them down again.
