This is a thicker scarf. The colors are bright and cheerful. However, if you turn the cloth over, you will see the same cloth in lighter colors. I don't know how to explain it, but both sides are beautiful. I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I would add is that I would like it to be a bit wider. But it is a beautiful work of art and I will enjoy it for many years to come. Bought with the idea of giving as a gift. Nope - it's mine. I bought a black background and a blue one. Both are wonderful.
