RENAISSANCE 2-PIECE COSTUME ~ Irish colorful overdress to wear over cream renaissance chemise. IRISH DRESS / COMFORT ~ We created this design with comfort in mind. Very wearable in those hot summer festivals and adjustable to fit your body shape. Developed in the 90's in our California studio, it has been widely copied both here and abroad. MYTHIC CHEMISE ~ Developed with our Irish Dress to create a flattering costume reasonably priced for women of all sizes. FABRIC SAFETY ~ US Lab tested for toxicity and flammability. QUALITY ~ Over 20 years ago, we developed a series of costumes based on the concept of quality for less. It may not sound very innovative now but at the time, there was little to choose from that wasn't $200+ for a simple costume. Our idea was not to provide Guild costumes, which can run in the thousands, or those cheap costumes that are a dime a dozen, but to provide a quality costume for its price for those who enjoy visiting Faires and still play a part by looking the part. STRAIGHT FORWARD ~ Our costumes are an excellent deal for this price range. Our fabrics are tested for safety, which is a huge issue these days, thanks to corners cut in fast fashion. We offer a safe alternative between the superior quality, expensive costume and the cheap untested one. With this in mind, you will be ecstatic with what you receive.
