The balaclava surprised me a bit. It has some stretch and is made from polyester microfiber. Most of the inside and outside of this balaclava is covered with soft microfiber plush. However, the mouth area has a small rectangular area approximately 1.25" x 2.75" of thinner and thicker mesh fabric to facilitate breathing and speaking through the balaclava. It's a nice touch and actually works well! This balaclava also fits very well and stays in place. I found it has a bit of elastic which helps keep it in place. This balaclava is well designed, comfortable to wear, stays in place and easy to breathe. At the moment this is my go-to balaclava, when I wear it outside I love it so much!
