This is more material for sweatpants. This is normal for a business casual, but not quite elegant. In addition, the hem was beveled on one side. I don't think it was intentional, just bad design but I pretend it's cool and still wear it with leggings. I love the elasticated waist that looks more fitted than gathered. It was very comfortable, attractive and sat well on my knee at 5'8". It has a nice drape. Well worth the money.
