I'm not sure what happened here. I ordered this light strip as a bluetooth controlled device. It works as advertised, but I can't extend it due to incompatible extensions. I tried adding a 40 inch strip and as I have shown in my drawings they don't match at all. I received an old product? I ordered the original kit from Amazon and the extension from Home Depot. Both appear to be Philips products but the Amazon product does not have 3M tape on the back. Be careful when ordering. I will post a continuation of my solution. Update: Apparently after doing some research I've determined that it's likely that Revain provided a version 3 product and Home Depot sells a version 4 extension, Philips doesn't sell an adapter. Therefore I cannot renew this product. The light strip itself is good, but I can't use it for its intended purpose.
