I loved these Clarks Un Costa lace-up shoes as I am a long time fan of the brand. However, the shoes did not meet my expectations. While the British tan colorway looked elegant, the shoe seemed to have a slight differentiation in material colors throughout the shoe, which I didn't find appealing. The shoe's cushioning was a definite disappointment and the insole felt very flat, which I wasn't expecting from Clarks. I added a few insoles as the cushioning wasn't enough, but it didn't make much of a difference. The leather construction is usually a good sign of durability, but there was a flaw in the stitching that made me a little uncomfortable. However, there were some positive aspects. The fit was true to size and the lacing system allowed me to adjust it to get a comfortable fit. The shoe had a durable rubber outsole, which came in handy when walking on wet surfaces. Overall, the Clarks Un Costa Lace is okay. They look good but their content is lacking. I would not recommend them for long walks or standing.
