Review on DisplayPort Port USB Output 2X2 Computers Support Wireless by Douglas Jakab

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works for two monitors. It does. Just don't try to decipher the instructions.

Let me start by saying that this product works. Feedback on what doesn't work - either the box came across badly (unlikely) or just didn't know how to set it up. Instructions are garbage. and maybe some converters for display port or usb c or dvi. Personally, I haven't been able to get VGA to work. Monitors All that comes in the box will be an HDMI port. The two cables that go to your monitors are HDMI and then HDMI or whatever with whatever adapter or cable you're using. I personally have HDMI out for port display on my big monitor and HDMI out for DVI on my old smaller screen. The HDMI sides returning to the box connect to the box's two monitor ports. These are PCs/laptops. Four additional HDMI ports connect up and down. The HDMI above uses the HDMI output for everything (HDMI, Displayport, DVI, USB C) on PC1. HDMI port below, please use the included USB cable. USB and HDMI at the end of this cable go into PC1. So you should have two cables and an extra USB port connected to your PC1/Laptop1. Rinse and repeat for PC2. The above port goes from home to PC2. The bottom port goes to PC2 with USB. Get information from monitors. Once all those 6 tangled HDMI cables are connected to your box and all the cables are strewn about your desk, connect your mouse and keyboard to the USB mouse and keyboard ports on the box. .**IMPORTANT STEP** (Make sure the box is plugged in and turned on with the switch on the back) Press and hold the PC1 button on the front of the box for 10 seconds or until you hear a horrific series of thumps . This lets you know that the box contains information about your monitor. After that, you can freely switch between the devices. My Setup2 laptops don't have HDMI ports. 2 monitors without HDMI ports. Uses a DVI-HDMI cable for one monitor and a Displayport adapter for another. a docking station with two display ports for pc1 and usb c and a display port adapter for an additional connection is used for laptops. Some lessons learned. I couldn't get VGA to work. When switching to PC1, the VGA monitor was not recognized, which was fixed by using docking stations with two display ports. Display/laptop settings are set to transfer to another monitor and when using a laptop that does not go to sleep or hibernate when the lid is closed in power settings. That's all I have at the moment. Finally got it working this morning after having some fun with the VGA port. The docking station was successful. I'll let you know if I find a way to disable the beep.
