Nothing else compares to dual display port monitors, and it works.

Okay, a little . flaky. I have an MBP and a PC and I have two external monitors. I had a Mac on 1 and a PC on 2 and was able to toggle normally but the main display went blank. I switched it so that PC is 1 and Mac is 2. and no problem. Stable now. I can only assume that the Mac ran out of juice. I'm using a USB3 Type-C dock on a Mac to break a displayport and USB connector, so I can only assume that was the case. Also, the box stinks. How bad. Very bad. But it works. This is the only one I've…

Works as advertised

I use this KVM to switch between my personal desktop and my work laptop. The desktop is connected directly to port B using two HDMI cables. The keyboard, mouse and Corsair headphone transmitter are connected to three USB ports. The laptop is connected to a USB-C dock and the two HDMI ports on the dock connect to port A on the KVM. Switching between the two ports works perfectly. My only complaint is that some settings require the use of a remote control. Some settings cannot be changed using…

Was going to send it back - now I'm (almost) fully satisfied with it

When I first tried to set this switch, it didn't recognize my second monitor, which had a different resolution, than my first. So I figured I'd have to send the device back - I had already printed out a return label. Then I decided to rescan the monitors. This time the scan seemed to take a long time. and it found the correct settings for my second monitor. Now works like a charm! And unlike many other (single monitor) KVM switches I've owned before, this one's heavy enough not to be dragged…

What a pain in external components

If you really want to use this thing you have to start with this switch because that's what everything has to do for it to work. Everything should be HDMI, nothing else will do, I've found that. Be patient, this is 90's tech in the 2020's. Hook everything up as shown in a very poor guide. Turn on the monitors and wait a few minutes. Power on the KVM switch and wait a few minutes. Turn on your #1 computer and wait for that loud beep. Make sure everything is working, then turn on computer #2. It…

Does Exactly What It Says

Let me start by saying that this product does exactly what it says on the tin and is worth every penny spent. I ran into video output issues during setup, but it was NOT a KVM switch. Other people have reported issues with VGA adapters connecting to KVM. I had similar issues and it was solely related to the VGA port on my graphics card, not KVM. One of my computers (2 year old Dell Inspiron with 1 HDMI and 1 VGA) worked fine, another (6 year old Lenovo ThinkCentre with 1 VGA and 1 DP) had a lot

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Easily Repairable

Let me start by saying that this product works. Feedback on what doesn't work - either the box came across badly (unlikely) or just didn't know how to set it up. Instructions are garbage. and maybe some converters for display port or usb c or dvi. Personally, I haven't been able to get VGA to work. Monitors All that comes in the box will be an HDMI port. The two cables that go to your monitors are HDMI and then HDMI or whatever with whatever adapter or cable you're using. I personally have HDMI

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Difficult to say

Worked great! Not so much now.

I will say when I first received this I had trouble getting it to work and I wanted to send it back. Instead I followed the instructions on the product page which is much clearer than the instructions that came with it and now everything works great. You really need to connect it in the order that the instructions say. But now my work laptop and PC are connected to my 2 monitors and I can easily switch between them with a click of the remote. I use the same monitors, keyboard and mouse for…
