Review on DisplayPort Port USB Output 2X2 Computers Support Wireless by John Kachinosky

Nothing else compares to dual display port monitors, and it works.

Okay, a little . flaky. I have an MBP and a PC and I have two external monitors. I had a Mac on 1 and a PC on 2 and was able to toggle normally but the main display went blank. I switched it so that PC is 1 and Mac is 2. and no problem. Stable now. I can only assume that the Mac ran out of juice. I'm using a USB3 Type-C dock on a Mac to break a displayport and USB connector, so I can only assume that was the case. Also, the box stinks. How bad. Very bad. But it works. This is the only one I've found that can drive 2 x 4k displays at 60Hz. and costs less than $600. It's good. Update: So I had problems. It turns out that the USB-C multiport adapter I'm using for one of the DisplayPort connectors is drawing too much power or something on a Mac and can confuse it. I now have two dedicated USB-C to Displayport adapters, a separate USB-C to USB3 adapter, and power on the last USB-C port on my MBP. Now it works fine. So if you're having trouble with an MBP and two external displays, be careful which USB-C to DP adapters you're using, and don't use one that doubles as a USB hub. My peripherals are connected to a powered USB hub connected to this KVM and almost everything works fine except for the SoundBlaster G6 which I'm trying to share between computers. Spring.
