The problem with this socket is that the tunnel is not straight or centered. Low skill! So annoyed! What should have taken 8 hours 1 minute ago took me all day to figure out how to drill this nest. It turns out that chrome valadium is one of the hardest substances on earth. After trying a few drill bits and calling the machine shop, where they told me they might not get to it until tomorrow, I went to a home store and got a 5/16 inch cobalt drill bit and I managed to drill enough , to grab hardly a nut . . Luckily they are not too tight. I did my job but I feel punished by the CTA tools! I think $23 for a single outlet is a lot for one that doesn't even have a direct center tunnel! Incidentally, replacing the valve cover and gasket on a BMW 535xi e60 n54 engine.
