Review on 🎒 Quercetti Q6452 Skyrail Suspension: Elevate Your Building and Racing Experience by Mike Barnett

There are significant flaws, but fun nonetheless!

I bought this for my 8 and 10 year old daughters so we can put it together. They had other, much smaller marble runs, and they like them a lot. It took about an hour to assemble and required some patience, but it was a blast. There was a serious error in the instructions on the first page, but otherwise everything was fine. The biggest flaw in the design, and it's huge in relative terms, is the bracket that attaches the cables to the rail. There are these little plastic step tensioners that form one end of each cable. Almost all of us were broken and didn't close. After assembly, they snap into place and release the loops. I've tried tape and glue replacing them with double half knots but nothing worked. Given that the rails can hold up to 24 lines, this is a serious problem. Despite this flaw, my kids spent about 4 hours playing with this thing, making small adjustments almost every time they passed the marbles. Have fun. The different types of balloons provided allow children to see the effects of weight and momentum as some finish the run, some don't and some derail. We'll probably buy another set to build something really massive. Last note. The photos on some boxes are misleading. The assembled block is approximately 40 inches high and 7 feet long. Not as big as in the photo but big enough.
