Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Makita XLC02ZB Lithium Ion Cordless Vacuum: Powerful Cleaning Without the Cord by Janet Tijerina

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really disappointing in many ways

I bought this to replace my years old Hoover Linx bagless vacuum and after using it the problems became apparent: - Disposable paper vacuum filter - comes with a filter delivered, which will probably last for a week. I accidentally took it off the frame to clean it better and now the whole vacuum is useless because it can't be put back on. - To use it you need to buy cloth filters, sold separately. - not very strong. - the user manual lists a heavy duty filter and a normal filter, but only one comes with the vacuum cleaner - you have to hold the button down the whole time while vacuuming - it doesn't click into place. - It's basically a handheld vacuum on a stick. OK? Amazing charger and you can get ceiling corners standing on your tiptoes. In addition, it leaves no traces on the wall/ceiling. The Hoover Linx I've used for years was fully boxed, had no reusable parts (no bags/filters), had roller brushes, two speeds, worked well. on hard floors and carpets and never had my hand clenched because the button stays in place. I made a bad choice with this one.
