First of all, the battery is fantastic. Nikita is very familiar with battery technology and electric motors. But the plastic case of this product is terrible. It's been December 2018 and I've already resorted to duck tape. Right, duct tape. The plastic hole connecting the vacuum cleaner to the nozzle is 60% broken and the filter housing is cracked and in danger of falling apart. For reference, I use this two or three times a week. And I'm old enough and smart enough not to overuse my tools…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great little vacuum cleaner. best in class.

I've had the white version of this vacuum for two years now and I find it indispensable. It's very light and compact, and its suction power is good enough for everyday use in my shop (I don't use my big chain "shop vacuums" anymore!). Much better than the B&D and Sh@rk cordless handheld vacuums I've had in the past. I also had two D#son handheld vacuums and both of them exploded on me (rotors burst). And they were way more expensive than the Makita. Unfortunately my wife recently stole my…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Only available in white

Really disappointing in many ways

I bought this to replace my years old Hoover Linx bagless vacuum and after using it the problems became apparent: - Disposable paper vacuum filter - comes with a filter delivered, which will probably last for a week. I accidentally took it off the frame to clean it better and now the whole vacuum is useless because it can't be put back on. - To use it you need to buy cloth filters, sold separately. - not very strong. - the user manual lists a heavy duty filter and a normal filter, but only one…

Pros
  • Pretty

  • Long wait

It sucks! (Literally)

This little vacuum cleaner sucks just like I want it and better than I hoped. The best thing about it is its portability, which is why I bought it in the first place. After reading some reviews I was concerned about its suction power (CFM isn't even listed on the product page as far as I recall) and thought about buying a backpack with two 5 amp batteries to replace it , but I even read that it lacks suction power, and even corded devices didn't appeal to customers in terms of suction, so I…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

The vacuum cleaner is reinvented. Brilliant. Simple

For me this is an excellent tool for which I am grateful every day! I have hardwood floors in my house. I have pets. I have two Dyson vacuums that I really like. But it makes me want to jig for several reasons: It's cordless, light weight, small and simple. So we keep it in the laundry room off the kitchen. We also have a battery charger and a Makita battery powered blower. I use this little vacuum to remove dog hair and cat litter, as well as bits of grass and dirt that we bring from our shoes

Pros
  • Improved floor nozzle for improved maneuverability and dirt pick-up
Cons
  • Unreliable

Excellent vacuum for spot cleaning and great ease of maintenance.

The ultimate test of a cordless vacuum cleaner is 1) suction power, 2) battery life, 3) charging time and 4) ease of maintenance. 1) The suction power may be slightly lower than the Dyson V6. But in use, the vacuum cleaner has more than enough suction power for household use. 2) One charge is enough for about 20-30 minutes in off and on state. The specified duration is 15 minutes at 100 times the duty cycle. But I've never had a vacuum on all the time and I don't think most people will use it…

Pros
  • 2-stage bagless fabric filter system for easier cleaning and faster dirt removal
Cons
  • Has been damaged
