Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Makita XLC02ZB Lithium Ion Cordless Vacuum: Powerful Cleaning Without the Cord by Rud Starks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The vacuum cleaner is reinvented. Brilliant. Simple

For me this is an excellent tool for which I am grateful every day! I have hardwood floors in my house. I have pets. I have two Dyson vacuums that I really like. But it makes me want to jig for several reasons: It's cordless, light weight, small and simple. So we keep it in the laundry room off the kitchen. We also have a battery charger and a Makita battery powered blower. I use this little vacuum to remove dog hair and cat litter, as well as bits of grass and dirt that we bring from our shoes or dog paws. The canister doesn't last much, but for me it's perfect! I throw it in the trash can in my backyard and at the same time use a Makita blower to blow out the cloth filter because I can't get the hair/dust out. Small cloth filters can easily be accidentally thrown in the trash when emptying the bin, so be careful. The small filters are well made of felt material. They have strong stitching and I can't imagine needing to change them very often if you blow through to clean. My system may not work for everyone. I can honestly say if I didn't have a little Makita fan by my side I wouldn't love this vacuum as much because the filter would need to be changed so often. This machine is not designed for rough carpet cleaning. I don't know why they even invented it. But I love it for my hardwood floors because I love clean floors and it helps me vacuum them EASILY.

Pros
  • Improved floor nozzle for improved maneuverability and dirt pick-up
Cons
  • Unreliable
