Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Makita XLC02ZB Lithium Ion Cordless Vacuum: Powerful Cleaning Without the Cord by Melody Young

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It sucks! (Literally)

This little vacuum cleaner sucks just like I want it and better than I hoped. The best thing about it is its portability, which is why I bought it in the first place. After reading some reviews I was concerned about its suction power (CFM isn't even listed on the product page as far as I recall) and thought about buying a backpack with two 5 amp batteries to replace it , but I even read that it lacks suction power, and even corded devices didn't appeal to customers in terms of suction, so I finally went back to the original reason I bought it, which was portability, and hoped only that the suction power would be enough. Well it is, and I can't help but turn around to figure out where the cord might be because it's hard to get used to being without electrical cords. I tried how long it took with a partial charge first (I got a Makita 5 amp blower battery first) and it lasted 15-20 minutes so I figured that full test charge would tire in 30 minutes, but not so! I'm not sure how long this took, probably 30-40 minutes, but I walked through my entire one story house about 3-4 times before finally giving up trying to fully drain the battery (assuming it is better to fully charge the battery). Battery). discharged battery than a partially charged one) and just stop because of fatigue and don't have to keep decorating the house and charge the battery again hoping that it will be weak enough not to damage the battery and charge it only partially discharged. So I'm definitely happy. Although I have 3-4 high suction corded vacuums, one of which is a heavy duty Sears canister type, I will choose this particular vacuum because it is easy to carry without having to constantly route and move the cord. In my opinion this mini vacuum is well designed to work with the 5 amp battery that I had prior to purchase.
