Review on πŸ”‹ Energizer LR44 Battery, Silver Oxide 303, 357, AG13, or SR44 1.5 Volt Batteries (Pack of 3) by Sharese Mekang

Probably good batteries, but cautionary tale.

Hello! After reading several places online that they could replace the Energizer EXP76 originally listed, I put these batteries in my old and trusty HP 15-C. Unfortunately, unlike previous batteries, an asterisk flashed as if the batteries were not the same. Aside from the blinking, the calculator seemed to work fine for a short time when I was ready to witness the blinking.πŸ˜‰. After a while I decided to go "go original". I went to BestBuy, got the initially advertised Energizer EXP76, plugged them into the calculator and the blinking stopped and the asterisk disappeared. However, the original batteries were a little over three times the price ($5 per battery, sold separately). So pay attention to costs and compatibility. Despite claims to the contrary in various online retailers, they are NOT fully interchangeable with the original. My recommendation: If you want to save money, try this one (Energizer 357/303 battery) and be prepared to live with the blinking and possible short lifespan. Substitute. He has to work. However, if you want the HP 15-C to run like new, expect the extra $10 and get the right batteries. In any case, enjoy. PS To be fair although my experience wasn't what I was hoping for I gave these batteries 5 stars as they are currently 4.6 and I suspect they would be good batteries in the right device.
