The fan itself is quiet and pleasant so far and works well with the included bluetooth controller. Now to the actual WiFi application and/or controller. Either I have a bad module or the implementation is just bad. I've tried factory reset (button 3), reset wifi (button 2) and turn off the device. I would see the default wifi appear and then just disappear. After many tries, I was finally able to connect it to my local 2.4GHz band via the app. It seems to say that it is. Then there is no connection in the application. Go to "Device Information" and try saying something "Device not found locally". 2nd time trying WiFi. Honestly it's IOT because everything is really stupid and the fan doesn't need WiFi, but it's annoying right now. Ceiling fans really just have to stay dumb. And basically I get a dumb phone app that doesn't work.
