It was delivered on Monday (5th) and I immediately took the cot down to make room to set up the bed, big mistake. Assembling the Dream On Me Brookside Toddler Bed is fairly easy but tricky as many of the pre-drilled holes are misaligned and the self-tightening screws are a joke and extremely difficult to use. It's good to assemble the brackets without a workbench and clamps as I have construction tools and experience. One of the parts had a manufacturing defect and the insert was not attached so the bed could not be assembled and used. I contacted customer service via their online chat, the record when you call means the offices are closed due to Covid-19. After 30 minutes and jumping through their hoops, they assured that a replacement would be sent. If your child jumps on the bed I would not order this product. For the price I expect it to last at least a year or two based on my build experience and general feeling I put the lower term at 6 months a reasonable rate is less. **UPDATE** Downgraded from 2 to 1 star after further disappointment. Finally a replacement on the 14th. This was not a new part but a used returned part from another bed as shown in the photos. I decided to clean it up, finish the assembly and see how it looks. When I installed the side rails I noticed that the wood had cracks and they just brushed over the crack to cover it up.
