I love combining shabby chic with old Victorian interior styles. I also ordered a white and cream-colored canopy for my four-poster bed. I wanted the layers to complement each other and it really is a beautiful combination! I plan to pair them with rose shaped LED lights and round paper LED lights hanging on or around the canopy itself. When I finish the room it should look stunning! I'll post a photo when everything is assembled. At this point, the mesh (yes, it's soft tulle) is very transparent and can appear almost invisible in a single layer. I would recommend doubling them up for a richer, whimsical look.
