This is the perfect choice for what I needed. I installed smart sockets in our bedroom to turn the lights on and off with Revain Echo. My wife and I both went to bed and then one of us had to get out to turn off the lights, so we plugged in smart plugs and connected them to Alexa to solve this problem. BUT we found that out of habit we turned the lights on and off without thinking and I worried that I would have to keep reprogramming the smart plugs. Just walk over the switch plate to prevent this. They keep the open side away from where you would flip the switch, so you can use the switch when needed, but that way the switch doesn't accidentally flip. It is also helpful to prevent the emergency switch or clock and heater wall switch from tripping.
