Update: After using this product for a few weeks the fuss is over. My trash cans are smelling again. Can't say the old ones recommend this product. Back to the soda. I was looking for a product that would eliminate the stench/trash bag smell from the trash cans in the kitchen. Every time I opened the closet door the smell just came out. Pooh! I wasn't sure if this product would work in jars without lids but figured as long as I could tape the junk ninjas to the inside of the jar why not give them a try. A few days passed and the stinky smells almost disappeared. Hooray! I will say that the packaging says nothing about how to "reactivate" the charcoal pad that comes with Trash Ninja. I watched the product video before purchasing, but I found it odd that the back of the box didn't have the same information as the video. To reactivate the activated carbon pads, place them outside in direct sunlight for a few hours; every 30 days or so. The packaging says Trash Ninjas is supposed to last 12 months, but it should be rechargeable. I recommend.
