Review on AmazonBasics Quick Dry Bath Towels Cotton by Kim Morris

If I had written this review a few weeks ago I would have given it 2 stars. So I got these towels in the mail and put them in the wash before use. Unfortunately I washed them in my portable washing machine and hung them on a hanger to dry and when it came time to use the towels the fluff that came off was insane! My bathroom was such a crazy fuzzy mess and the towels seemed to shed so much during those first few uses. BUT after that first week or so they stopped shedding and were so fluffy and soft and dried quickly. My husband's towel, which always smells musty because it never dries completely, smells freshly washed after weeks of use. He even asked me today if I washed his towel because it smelled like fabric softener (I didn't). So my advice is this: when they arrive at your house, wash them thoroughly (maybe twice) in your regular washing machine and machine dry them. (I hung them out to dry the first time. Not a good idea). This will ensure that you get rid of all the lint first and leave you with a set of soft, fluffy towels.
