Review on Insulated Spruce Jacket for Boys by Arctix by Gotdat Burton

Thin but warm winter coat

I was a little disappointed when I received this coat because they sent me the wrong color (red instead of blue). It also turned out to be pretty small for AVERAGE. However, when my almost 11-year-old son put it on, it fit him very well. I would say that next year it might be too small for him, but at least this year he will be able to wear it. He is very thin and of average height for a ten year old. The coat is not too bulky and appears thinner compared to some other children's winter coats. It contains 140 grams of ThermaTech insulation: for reference, 50-100 grams of insulation is better suited for spring and fall or when you expect to wear layers of clothing, and 100-200 grams of insulation is suitable for colder conditions. Temperature. So a good winter jacket, but I wouldn't send my son to the arctic in that jacket. 210T taffeta lining, soft and comfortable to the touch. It is known for its durability and its ability to dry quickly. Features of the coat: Hood (not detachable) Snap button closure with concealed zip Two side pockets with zip and one chest pocket with zip Inner mesh pocket and small inner pocket with zip. Velcro pocket Velcro adjustable cuffs Storm cuffs with thumb holes for extra warmth. The coat is machine washable separately in cold water. Tumble dry low. No fabric softener, bleach or dry cleaning. Do not expose this coating to high temperatures, flames or sparks as it is not fireproof.

Pros
  • Machine washable and tumble dry for easy care
Cons
  • The material does not feel soft
