Very strong magnets and a rubber coating are practical.
Super strong magnets like this exist, but most don't have protective rubber coating to prevent magnets from scratching. They are coated and offer screw holes for attaching various things. It would be nice if the kit included threaded hooks to fit through the holes, but that's no reason to lower it. Highly recommended as long as they retain their magnetic appeal.
