This saved me the hassle of finding the entire mount and kit with just or not to find the cord. This cable is not well made and will fail while the rest is in great shape. The cable, where it enters the base as a plug, shorts the wire when used, and this is the main thing that allows you to get proper normal life. We've become a throwaway society and increasingly need to replace items when they're out of style or out of production. This is my third cable but on my second I had to buy all the replacement brackets and everything to get the cable. This time I had a hard time even finding it.
