I thought they were good value for money and they came quicker than expected. At this point I can't tell how durability and waterproofing will be for anyone else. I didn't buy them as napkins. All I matched. and although they had some minor flaws. they are napkins. not covers. It smelled. similar to the earthy smell of burlap, but after two initial washes they were fine. For those who wash new ones. sheds a lot (like new very fluffy towels) and I recommend keeping an eye on the strainer and cleaning it more often than at the end of the load. We adopted an adorable but 7 year old cat who loves my beautiful sofas like a scratching post. Bought these clothes to wrap couches. so the cat doesn't destroy them. (And... yes. for those with cats. We've tried everything to find a scratching pad for them except couches. Decades of cat experience here. lol). We leave the cat. and cover the sofas until I make slipcovers. Meanwhile, these fabrics were the right price and size for what I needed. I took the 4 x 12 size so they would be less bulky to wash and handle. They work for what I asked them to do and will live another life like rags when the couches are covered with blankets.
