Review on πŸ“ Polymaker 1.75mm Cardboard Filament: High Rigidity Additive Manufacturing Supplies for 3D Printing by Michael Bazen

Tangled spools are useless

My impression was that Polymaker was a top notch company in terms of filament quality. However, I no longer believe that. The PLA roll I ordered was tangled and even after flattening it twice, there were deeper tangles in the roll. Therefore I refrain from using it. Tangles can severely damage the extruder and of course ruin the print job. I've also never had any problems with PLA sticking to the printer bed. However, this throw doesn't do well with small items. The same objects were printed from other PLAs and I've never had a crash. This PLA deforms very easily, just like nylon, at a layer temperature of 60 and 70 degrees. Even MagiGoo won't stick it. So goodbye Polymaker, I guess an impressive ad doesn't really guarantee an impressive product.
