7/8 " instead of 3/4 " is best for Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I bought a drill that came with an 8" drill bit with a 3/4" shank became 4" bit with 3/4" shank. I've bought extensions that clearly have a 3/4" shank. Everything else fits well and the bits stay straight. So loose that it ends up flopping a few inches. It makes the job more time consuming and sloppy than getting the right one Size.I requested a size ad, believing the wrong item was shipped as 7/8" is another common drill bit size, and was sent another 7/8" shank and 6" bit. Although the metal looks thin it is strong and holds up well against rocks as i used until i got the right size i am returning them both due to false advertising i think they can be great on a pole 7/8". working but can't confirm it.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Drill Kit
