Some have expressed concern that the USB-C connection is "too tight" and I'm having the same issue, but after careful testing I found this to be the case corresponds to the structure of the cable. I went back to my original Apple cable (iPad AIR 4) and found that the connect/disconnect effort was very similar to the Elebase cable, which was a bit "tighter".
