Outside mirror replacement glass inexpensive

We urgently needed a mirror and I was glad to find one. It was reasonably priced and not too expensive for the heated variety. It fits perfectly in place, even a child can handle it. The only thing that confuses me is the glue. When it arrived the sticky pad didn't have a peelable lid on the sticky side. It was left open so I had to be careful not to touch it. Otherwise a good mirror.
