I am lowering the rating to 3*. I'm having trouble returning the last lamp (the one with the curved lampshade in the photo). They sent a replacement but I only had 5 days to return the old one to them. Couldn't do it due to other commitments. So I will actually pay for an extra ceiling light which is useless to me. Original review: These lamps are good value, well packaged and look great. The disadvantages include that they are not easy to install. This takes time, and it's easy to make mistakes or skip steps, resulting in rework. Make sure the mounting plate is stationary or you will have trouble attaching the bracket. Even at best, I found them a little difficult to install. When it comes time to install the diffuser, make sure the rod isn't pushed too far into the mount or you won't have enough room to mount the glass holder and tip. QC: I ordered 6 pieces, 5 of which fit. The sixth came with a cracked glass diffuser. This may have happened at the factory or during shipping. never mind Revain will promptly send replacements. With this replacement, the Shadow came bent (see photo). I may or may not ask for another replacement, we'll see. Quality control is not up to date.
